I guess at some point in our lives we have definitely been victims of prank calls. And maybe it is safe to assume that we must have used a prank call idea on our nosy neighbors, the grumpy general store manager or an annoying classmate at some stage in our childhood. Children are known to be natural pranksters and there are hardly a few exceptions to this rule. I admit being one of them. Prank calls were a common joke played by my group of friends when we laid our hands on the telephone directory. This directory was simply a supply of innocent victims of our prank. Of course, it can be an irritating factor if this gets out of hand. Prank calls can be very disturbing and distressing especially when the victim is fast asleep at night. So, right now my only advice to you is - do it at your own risk. And avoid crossing the limit. After all, everyone is entitled to his/her peace of mind at home and you don't want to end up with detention. Here are some harmless but great prank call ideas you can use when you want to just have some fun.

Good Prank Call Ideas

Idea #1
This is one of the best ideas, a real oldie and I have been a victim of the same. You call up the person you're going to be playing a prank on and ask for a person named 'Joey'. Since there really is no Joey, the obvious answer would be, 'You've got the wrong number'. Call up the person many times during the day or week and disguise your voice in varied accents and ask for Joey. After a few days, call up your victim and say, 'This is Joey. Have you taken any messages for me?' I am sure the person at the end of the line would probably want to strangle you with the telephone wire because I had wished to do the same.

Idea #2
Call the local Chinese joint and insist on ordering for some American fast food. When they tell you that they do not serve that, go on to give them a detailed account of why they should include it in their menu. Throw a tantrum for added effect. Then thank the Lord that all this is happening over the phone. 'Cause can you imagine what would've been the case if you had done this in person?

Idea #3
Here's another funny and irritating idea. The conversation should go as follows. The person who picks up the line would obviously say...
'Hello'
You: 'Hello?'
'Yes?'
You: 'How may I help you, Sir?'
'Excuse me, you are the one who just called me!'
You: 'Sorry sir, but you have just called me.'
'No, you are the one who has called me.'
You: 'You'd better reveal your name or else I will have to hang up'
The person may hang up and you can also do the needful.

You can call the same person up after some time and say...
You: 'It's you again! I will have to report you to the cops!'

This is bound to leave your caller exasperated and clueless about what is going on!

Idea #4
You call your victim and pretend to be an engineer from the phone service. Say that the phone lines have been giving some problem and you would like to test the voice quality. Select a few stupid phrases and make your victim repeat the same for voice testing!

Idea #5
Call your victim and pretend to be an RJ from the local radio station. Say the recording is being played live and ask your victim to answer three questions to win a weekend trip to a happening destination. Make a list of naughty or funny questions and embarrass him/her!

Idea #6
Call your victim and pretend your call is from a website that has confirmed the bookings that were ordered by the said person. The person is bound to object to any such order. You can argue in turn and insist for the remainder of the payment for the said number of goods. Then insist on delivering the same immediately.

Idea #7
This prank works best on an old couple, or a couple in their middle ages. Make sure to call from a public telephone booth and disguise your voice well. Trust me, it would not be good if they knew who you were. So after you call them, if the gentlemen picks up, you confirm their surname and go on to say "Mr Peters you ordered for a box of stamina enhancing pills. The order is here. This call is made for confirming the address". If the lady picks up, you say "Mrs. Peters you ordered for a ------- (any sex toy). The order is here. This call is made for confirming the address". You can take it from there the way you wish it to. Sad that you won't get to see their expressions though.

Have you noticed how the urge to pull pranks gets heightened when there are a group of friends involved? Sometimes one must give in to that urge and just pull that prank already. Right?
