Great Grandpa
This is written for my great grandfather who died on Wednesday April 11. I hope he's happy visiting with great grandma!
You were so full of life
Ready to fight
And willing to love.
When you weren't there
Everyone missed you
But when you were
We all had a great time.
We know you had your grudges
And we all tried to understand
You were forgiven
The day you had your first failure.
It happened in a car
On the way to Saskatoon.
No one noticed it
Not even the doctors.
Then it happened again
And they tried to revive you
But no matter how long they tried
You just let go.
So you lived through one
Heart attack
But died on the second.
Goodbye Greatpa
We'll miss you!
