Graveyard In My Heart
This poem deals with the feelings of a boy suffering from depression. he was never wanted. being talented he didn't got any opportunities to prove himself, his dreams were crushed. his healthy relations turned into a diseased one. i hope you find it interesting and worth reading. In an ocean rests the pure pearl
But precious is when it's taken out.
I wish the pearl to emerge out of my heart
But it remained buried deep within.
In an ashtray lays a heap of my burned dreams.
Fulfilled dreams gives us hope that everything is not destiny bound,
I wish to dream again and throw ashes out of my heart
But it remained buried deep within.
In a cracked earthen pot filled with hollow relationships,
Through which flows out the love.
I wish to fix the cracks in the pot
But this wish remained buried deep within.
I want an inspiration to dig them out,
A hope to dig them out.
I wish to experience a new dawn,
A dawn where sun is no longer eclipsed
But this wish too remained buried deep within.
