Ingredients
  • 1 package frozen meatballs
  • One 12 oz jars chili sauce
  • One 10 oz jar grape jelly
  • Water, as needed
  • Salt and black pepper, for taste
Directions

To prepare the recipe, grape jelly meatballs with frozen meatballs, first of all, thaw the meatballs. Preheat the oven at 350ºF. Place the meatballs in a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Place in the oven (middle rack) and cook for about half hour. As the meatballs are cooking, take a pot and mix in jelly, chili sauce, salt and pepper, and water in it. Bring it to boil and let the sauce thicken. Add the cooked meatballs in it and mix everything properly. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Once ready, serve hot.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can chili sauce
  • 1 cup grape jelly

Directions

Take a large bowl to mix the ground beef, egg, chopped onion, salt and pepper. Combine thoroughly and make meatballs, size depending on your preference. Now in a deep pan, add water, chili sauce, lemon juice, and grape jelly. Add the meatballs next and cook till the meatballs are ready. As soon as they are cooked, serve the meatballs immediately.

  • ½ cup fine dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup onion, minced
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • One 12 oz bottle chili sauce

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, except for the vegetable shortening. Scoop out the mixture to make meatballs, size depending on your preference. Pour vegetable shortening in a deep skillet and brown the meatballs on medium heat. Drain the meatballs on some paper towels and go on to make the meatball sauce recipe. In a pan, combine chili sauce and grape jelly. Stir the ingredients till the jelly has melted. Add the cooked meatballs and simmer for about 30 minutes. Keep stirring till the sauce has thickened. Serve the meatballs on a platter with toothpicks.
