Grand River Corporate Rafting Trips… An Everyone Time Out
Grand River Rafting corporate trips offer a refreshing approach to "Experiencing Everything Together". A day out with them will bring everyone back smiling. Experience one of the most unique outdoor corporate adventures with interactive fun & learning.
Corporate rafting on the Grand River is a nearby outdoor experience only one hour west of Toronto. The location of the river allows corporate groups to plan 4 hour outdoor event within easy traveling time.
Grand River Rafting Company could be best described as the corporate wedding planner of the Grand River. They customize day trips to accommodate whatever needs a group may request. They use leisure rafting trips as a backdrop to which many features can be added to enhance the day.
Corporate teams can request meeting facilities that host up to 100 people in secluded outdoor settings. There are barbeque feasts of steak, rib & chicken with marinated portabella mushrooms to flavour the day. Overnight accommodations for those from afar can be arranged at the elegant Arlington Hotel in the quaint river town of Paris or small groups can enjoy the exclusive countryside setting of the River Ridge Bed & Breakfast
The essence of the entire corporate adventure is to create a day where people can experience things together. Eight person rafts are used like kitchen tables… a place to sit and talk as friends… with the panoramic scenery of the Grand drifting by. This is definitely a "get–to-know-us" setting.
The Grand is not an intimidating river… it is easy going with splash that everyone can enjoy. The river averages 1 meter in depth with a fun combination of swifts and pools. The guided rafts easily navigate… and are designed to accommodate people of all ages, size and skill. This allows everyone to participate in an amazing place of beauty with total safety.
The trips encourage group interaction with the imaginative challenge of the "Joe Bushman Quiz". This quiz gets the individual rafts thinking and talking together in a relaxed mode. And there is always the "evil raft" that tends to splash more then paddle… in fact sometimes there seems to be many evil rafts.
The splashing is contrasted with the times of quietness where teams paddle together through some amazing scenery… where people are individuals… yet all one. There are stops to learn about edible & medicinal plants… where colleagues often jest others to eat diarrhea berries or feel poison ivy. And then there are the cheers of the group as members attempt to climb to the top from inside an ancient hollow tree.
Fun competitions are included where teams compete to make their own fire and eat a boiled egg… or build a cardboard boat to race 5 pound rocks down the river… or create strategies to win the famous "Who’s the Boss" rafting tug of war. These varieties of challenges quickly bring teams together with an edge of competition based on laughter and imagination… where all are involved. And that is the idea… to get everyone participating.
As the river slows down so do the teams and their day together. Barbeques are often deliberately hosted at the end of the rafting trips. The concept being that enjoying a great day and a great meal together is like the final icing on the cake.
The owners of Grand River Rafting Company have hosted numerous teams from a collage of professions…and one thing they have noticed about all of them…
"That when you take people from the workplace… and put them in the panoramic outdoors… a switch is turned off… and something new begins".
Take the time to knock on the door of Grand River Rafting Company .... and enjoy the Grand!
