Automobile racing is a popular international sport on both amateur and professional levels. Among the most coveted races are the Grand Prix events, with the title of world champion going to the driver who's scored the most points in a yearly series of Grand Prix races. These races, which are run on a broad range of closed-circuit tracks and city roads, are restricted to Formula One automobiles, which have one seat, open wheels, and a mid-section engine that has a specific displacement, weight, and number of air foils to create a downward push.
