Gorgeous Lips as Precious as Rare Jewelry!
A sure and reliable recipe to obtain everlasting beauty for our lips - embodying Solomon’s memorable important facts of experience - will indubitably enhance the beauty of your lips!
It is said that the lips are "the flower of someone’s face". Indeed if your lips are thinner or thicker is not essential because you can give them the shape you want with a little help from your lip liner as well as your lipstick.
The advice for that procedure is everywhere and attractive discounts tempt all women to enhance their natural plusses, why not? After all, we all like nice things! As the good old proverb says "Make the nice be nicer and the nicer, the nicest!" I was actually paraphrasing another old proverb "Make the good be better, and the better, best."
However, what can have a greater influence and actually bring the real beauty (or…ugliness for that matter) of our lips is not the color of our lipstick.
Since ancient times, the wisdom of the well-known king Solomon brings the recipe for gorgeous lips; I took some of the ingredients of his recipe and laid them down here at hand, to make sure we have the most beautiful lips ever!
Right, let’s see what he means by gorgeous lips, the type we all would like to have and see the characteristics of these so highly praised lips. Here is how Solomon values them according to their characteristics:
a) Luxurious, rare Jewels! Who wouldn’t like such a pair of lips! But what do we have to put on them to make them so priceless? Solomon says that if there is wisdom and knowledge on your lips, they are just as precious as rare jewels:" There is gold and abundance of rubies; but the lips of knowledge are a rare jewel." Proverbs 20:15
Remember that wisdom does not equal intelligence; intelligence observes all nonsense but wisdom overlooks some of it.
"Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has discernment, but a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding." Proverbs 10:13
"The heart of the wise instructs his mouth, and adds learning to his lips." Proverbs 16:23
b) God’s delight and Kings’ enchantment! As you already know, God is perfect and He cannot even look at evil , how to please such a perfect God? Solomon says God Himself finds extreme satisfaction in those who cover their lips in truth "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are His delight." Proverbs 12:22
You all know that kings are not easy to please! How can you please someone who already has all his heart might desire? Nevertheless, if your lips speak the truth, they represent the kings’ delight! "Righteous lips are the delight of kings. They value one who speaks the truth." Proverbs 16:13
If your heart enjoys the truth there is a special grace you’ll have when you speak and because of the truth you’ll affirm, the king himself will be your friend! "He that loves pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend. "Proverbs 22:11
c) Romantic too! There is so much pleasure in an honest answer as much as that of a kiss on the lips, oh dear! How romantic! Just kidding, but I think it is very inspired, here is what Solomon says: "An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips." Proverbs 24:26
What’s more, if you are the owner of a pair of lips that speak the truth, keep in mind that they will last an eternity: "Truth's lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary." Proverbs 12:19
d) They put food on your table! Yes, your lips can bring the food on your table if you use them right. Solomon says:" A man's stomach is filled with the fruit of his mouth. With the harvest of his lips he is satisfied. Proverbs 18:20
What’s more, wise lips not only bring food on your own house but also feed many others! "The lips of the righteous feed many, but the foolish die for lack of understanding. Proverbs 10:21
"From the fruit of his mouth will a man have good food in full measure, and the work of a man's hands will be rewarded." Proverbs 12:14
"By the fruit of his lips, a man enjoys good things; but the unfaithful crave violence." Proverbs 13:2
e) Protect your very life from destruction! "He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin." Proverbs 13:3 "The fool's talk brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them." Proverbs 14:3
A glance amongst the ideas of Solomon as to what beautiful lips bring into scene, make me wish we all had lips like that ;rare jewels that symbolize God’s delight and make us friends with kings, plus abundance in all the other areas of life. Precious indeed, so much more then make-up!
I will conclude with King’s David prayer also making it my prayer: "Set a watch, Yahweh (God), before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips. Psalms 141:3"
Gorgeous lips guarded by God Himself! Amen to that!
