Goodbye To You

Friendships thrown away at the toss of a coin.. heads or tails?
Today’s the day we fade away..
Friendships break
Are tossed aside
For the love of someone who can’t return it
Not in the way she needs
How wonderful is this life that we exist in?
And yet we are abandoned for a person
Who has been known for less than a month
3 years wasted for a night or 2 of fun
How wonderful is this life that we exist in?
And yet I did nothing wrong
A slip of the tongue, and a lie of a friend
And our relationship is no more
How wonderful is this world we exist in?
Betrayals of promises
Echo in the darkening skies
How wonderful is this world we exist in?
How to say goodbye
How wonderful is this world we exist in?

Good bye to my friend..
