Goodbye

Sudden...
As he kisses her sweet face
Like a sweet embrace
He remembers
All that he can
He wishes they could’ve been more
Were did the time go
He removes the ring from her finger
As he says goodbye
For the last time
Tears in his eyes
As they carry her coffin across the snow.
