Goodbye My Love

A poem of lost love…
If I could make one wish tonight
It’s for you to be here, to hold me tight
I never thought you’d be gone from me
Now you rest in peaceful serenity
I wished our love had been enough
To conquer a world that’s tough
Saying goodbye to something I’ve only begun to have
It’s enough to break my heart in half
My tears have been cried
For a love I know I will never again find
I still long for your kisses
And your warm embraces
I suppose I should be content
For the little times we’ve spent
Living the dreams only lovers knew
May you rest in peace, My Love, Adeui
