Good Wedding Planning
How to make good decisions for your wedding - real interviews with those who did- tips and advice
Making Good Decisions for Your Wedding
Most people get married once or twice in a lifetime - there is no school to go to in order that you can be educated in making good decisions about the wedding day of you aspirations. So making those decisions can be a challenge to say the least. We thought it would be a good idea to publish some of the experiences other people had, on not so much their big day as how they came about to plan and organize it.
We have interviewed many people on this subject of wedding planning so that their criteria can be looked at by those people who need to start their plans.
Interview A
KB is 35, she lives with her partner of two years LT 40, they got engaged on the 11th of June 2008 so had less than twelve months in order to plan and organize their big day. They wanted to marry in the spring as they wanted to be married as soon as it was reasonable to organize. We are interviewing the girls as we find that they tend to make most of the decisions in these occasions.
Question 1
What are the three most important things about your wedding and why?
"Choice of Groom! I believe I am a traditionalist and that as I believe that marriage is for life, as I have been married before to the wrong person, I know I would not embark on marriage again unless I Knew I was marrying the right person – particularly also, that divorces cost even more than the average wedding"
"Choice of Photographer – because the photos are visual memories and the only real keepsake you have of the special day.
"Choice of venue – because the photographer would fall short (of his mark) if the venue was not right, plus it is important to have the right setting and theme for your day. Also, the venue is important because you need to have the staff to do what you want rather than what they want to sell you. For example, trying to sell you an full wedding breakfast when you do not want one - you want a less expensive buffet.
