Some are more interested in the special effects, some look for a good story line, some go for music score and some want good actors which can feel the story and portray reality. A good scary movie has all the above mentioned traits! Being a huge movie buff, I, personally feel that a good horror movie should have an emotionally scary feel, which for me, is more important than the special effects! If the actors and the storyline managed to touch your emotions and senses, then the movie will have the ability to chill your spine for a decent amount of time!
