Dating is best time of any relationship. It's the time when you get to know each other for better or for worse. This is the reason why dates should be made interesting, participative and interactive. Spending your first date in a clichéd way, is understood. But the successive dates must have involvement from both the sides. At the same time, I understand that planning a kick ass date is tough task. However, that is no excuse from running away from the hard work you need to put into it. With a little imagination and creative thinking, coming up with ideas for a good date won't be difficult.

Ideas for a Good Date

Idea #1
Movies, a romantic dinner or a dance. The idea of taking out your date for a movie (or going out) is the safest one. There are only a few who don't like passive entertainment. So I don't think there's a chance of going wrong here. The second option, dinner is also a great idea and if your date is a total gourmet, it would be a delight! Lastly, a dance is totally 'teen love' thing. So, teenagers, simply go for it and for the older lot, renew those childish days on your date!

Idea #2
Small outings such as a just a late night bike ride for an ice cream, a day at a bowling alley, roller skating on a mundane evening, ice skating and tripping with every slide just to hold each others' hand, amusement parks and concerts are great date ideas too.

Idea #3
Focus on your date's hobbies and interests on your third date. If your date is an athlete or holds interests in sports, then horse back riding, bike riding, tennis, golf, skiing, water skiing, billiards or pool, trekking, camping, white water rafting are brilliant ways of spending time together. If you don't agree with these options, find out what are your date's interests and figure out a way of doing them together.

Idea #4
OK! You've done what your date likes to do. Now it's time your date does what you like. Parties, clubbing, shopping, romantic strolls in public gardens, visiting historical sites, taking one day classes together, day trips, star gazing, cooking together, walking on a silver sand beach as the cold water recedes below, picnic, paint ball, meeting mutual friends together, reading together, boat rides or going to a club event as each others' date...the choice is yours. This way you will know whether both of you share common interests or are polar opposites of each other.

Knowing each other is supremely important to avoid mishaps of heartbreak and heartache, arising from misunderstanding. Dates do not have to be romantic every time, and can be fun so as to bring you closer as friends, and permit you to see each other in a different light. I hope these date ideas help you get closer to make a stronger bond. Have fun!
