Good Bye

A poem about death...
Depression is over whelming
Always being sad and not knowing we’re to go
Sometime when I'm mad my nails dig into my Skin and I don’t even notice
Blood drips down my arm

I tie a rope around my neck I drop
My neck is burning from the tight pull of the rope
My dad walks in quickly reaches for his knife to cut Me down
I fall to the ground
He was too late
My heart had stopped once and for all
He rapped his arms around me as tears stream Down his face

He found a note in my hand it read...
If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes these things I too will miss
My life has been full
I've savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch
Don’t grief for me for now I'm free
He took me now it was meant to be!
