Gone

This is about two dear loved ones.
Gone
She only wanted,
To be loved,
And yet again,
She cried to herself.

And from within the darkness,
Her little body shook,
With no more tears to run her over,
She took that blade.

The blade,
That once upon a time,
He gave to her,
To protect her warm body.

From his cold heart,
Which now,
Hangs from hers,
Oh, don’t you know?

She only wanted,
To be loved,
But then he left,
And it cost her life.

She only wanted,
To be loved,
And now she’s gone,
Oh, don’t you know?

She ain’t coming home,
No, not this time,
So he won’t be going around,
With that fake smile upon his face.

She left,
With but a letter,
In her tiny little hands,
To each it read.

My love has left,
My heart cold and dead,
So don’t cry for me,
Don’t morn for me.

I’ve left for happiness,
So don’t cry for me,
Don’t mourn for me,
Cuz I’m not worth your lonely time.

It wasn’t her choice,
It wasn’t her fault,
She only wanted,
To be loved.

Don’t talk to her,
Not now,
Not ever,
You’re not worth her time.

He showed up at her door,
The very next day,
Looking to apologize,
But it was too late.

Long gone,
And dead,
He knelt at her side,
And began sob.

He then took the knife,
And pushed it,
Through his own,
Breaking heart.

Leaving but a letter,
He wrote,
My love is now gone,
So now shall I be too.

I’ve left for happiness,
Don’t cry for me,
Don’t mourn for me,
Cuz I’m not worth your lonely time.

I love you all,
And do you deserve,
Nothing,
But the best.
