God's Encouraging Promises

The comfort you'll find when you rely on God's promises is the expression of the deepest love and peace. You know, God is not human, He does keep His promises and these will get you through any situation you might encounter. See what His promises are!
It is very important to keep your promises towards everyone but when it comes to children, don’t allow yourself mistakes in this matter! Their tender heart will be badly hurt by an unfulfilled promise!

Have you ever had friends promise you certain things and then simply let you down? You probably have…I think we all do, but, there is a Friend Who never lets you down! I am talking about God; yes, in the deepest and darkest fountain of despair, He is there; all you have to do is to rely on Him. For every aspect of your life He has the best solution, many times the solution that seems impossible to you or might have never occurred to you.

1. God’s promise in Philippians 4:19 "My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." All your needs will be supplied for, isn’t that awesome? God’s children have an Almighty Father, that’s why He is able and also willing to provide all we need.

Jesus taught us to ask, seek and knock at the door of God’s supplies:" Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened on to you."

2. Yes this is another promise "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:15 "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."James 5:16

Regardless of the season of life you are in – a child, or teenager, an adult or a senior – and regardless of the circumstances you might face, these promises take you through; that is because God’s promises never change!

Sometimes on your pathway to Heaven (which can be very narrow at times) you might see this huge rock rolling in a speed towards you; where can you go? There is no way to avoid a collision and you can’t even thing about going back…at that speed, the rock would kill you anyway. But what I saw for a fact and experienced for real is that God intervenes in an amazing way: do you remember that God speaks about those springs of living water existent in the believer’s heart? Those represent the Holy Spirit of God; well, what I saw was that this living water has an incredible force when released through prayer and when it springs out of your heart, just like an artesian fountain, it simply lifts the huge rock over your head and it’s crushing power is useless.

3. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 Regardless what kind of situation you might encounter, you already have the resources to succeed "My grace is sufficient for you." 2 Corinthians 12:9

4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction." 2 Corinthians 1:3 God is ready to comfort your heart just like a mother comforts her child, you are never orphaned from God’s love and comfort!

5. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 Our views are always limited, but God knows all the days of our lives, that’s why leaning on God for guidance is the best thing we’ll ever do! He can show you His great plan for your life and it is going to be infinitely greater than you’ve ever imagined!

6. "For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 Yes, you are loved that’s why God planed good things for you!

7. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5

Many times we just don’t know how to handle certain situations, if that’s your case, ask for wisdom and God promised to give it to you! Imagine that Jesus is right there in front of you and ask Him for advice. I have and He did give me awesome ideas!

May God’s promises be the richest part of your life, enjoy them and share them, they are infinite and full of holy love!
