God Said, No!
One of the most difficult things to accept in life, is not being able to have something or someone that you truly cherish, with all of your heart. When trying to understand why, remember that, our destiny is in the hands of God!
Love, never did I ever believe,
I’d always, be loving you.
I still see you smile, and I hear your voice
Each moment, and in everything that I do.
I knew it then, and I know it now,
You put a spell on me,
You’d say my name, and touch my heart
You were the only light I could see.
I still don’t understand just how,
You stole my heart so fast.
Perhaps it was not meant to be,
Because it just didn’t last.
Time has gone on, and life has changed,
For you, and now for me
I’ve learned to understand just why,
God said, "You and I could never be!"
