God, Gay marriage and some fruit cake

Weird s**t
The internet is a fascinating place. It’s huge popularity and appeal is down to the fact that there are no barriers and no censorship. At last the human race can express it’s self under the banner of free speech.

Of course it does have its darker sides with porn sites and all kinds of weird s**t going on but occasionally you come across a site that knocks you off your feet. Do you know what I mean? You just can’t believe what you are seeing, like http://www.nogaymarriage.com/ Check it out, the bigotry is staggering. The site’s slogan is ‘Marriage: one man one woman and a truck load of prejudice’

Brimstone and fire
Of course you guessed it, it’s a bunch of rabid American Christians attempting to bully the rest of us into accepting their beliefs. A fruit cake by the name of Donald E. Wildmon is very vocal on this subject. He has gone out of his way to demonize homosexuals and he’s not the only one. On his site there’s plenty of reference to the "Unholyness of Gay Marriages" and the homosexual lifestyle. WHAT? Can’t these lunatics get it into their heads that being homosexual is not a lifestyle, it’s not a question of choice. You are what you are and as God intended, if there is a God. I for one don’t believe it because if God did exist, he’d be raining down brimstone and fire on Donald E. Wildmon shouting "I’ll not stand for this intolerance you arse! I made these folk so leave them alone".

A good cause
Like all good Christian causes Donald would like you to make a donation. Of course, it is a not for profit thingy and all proceeds will go to fighting the good Christian cause of nailing gays to the cross in order to save their corrupt souls.

Jack Daniel’s
There’s a link on the site to an article called "What homosexual 'marriage' will mean to America's children" by Linda Harvey. I thought Donald was out there in the twilight zone until I read Linda’s rantings. She forecasts the destruction of the human race and of the innocent minds of American children being corrupted by ultra liberalism and the specter of homosexualism. She supplies much detail as to how this will come about, almost like she is gazing into a crystal ball, or could it be a Jack Daniel’s bottle?

Society should always be on it’s guard against over liberalism and ultra conservatism but at least with one of them you get to make your own choices

For a while now we have been living with the threat of terrorism and the growing suspicion of Islam but it’s a pretty blurred line between Islamic fundamentalism and Christian conservatism. Can you tell the difference?

Gay marriage: A good or a bad thing?
Good, live and let live
Bad. It is the work of Satan
Can I get back to you when I've discussed it with my wife
