For this article's purpose, I have only used basic crystal rose pink acrylic glitter powder, along with violet monomer, an acrylic brush and a topcoat. Here are a few simple instructions to get glitter tip acrylic nails on your own without splurging in a salon.

• Dip the acrylic brush into the monomer and wipe the excess monomer, in case it's dripping from the brush.
• Now, slowly dip the tip of the wet acrylic brush in the rose pink glitter powder, only to pick up a small ball of glitter.
• Place that glitter ball on the tip of the acrylic nail and flatten it in a straight horizontal line.
• Add as much glitter as required to cover the entire tip of the nail with the glitter powder. Make sure you make a 'deep smile' line on the nail tip.
• Now, coat the entire nail, with the clear acrylic and finish it by buffing it smooth. When you are done, you can apply a favorite topcoat.

Do not try to file the nails as filing can scuff the glitter and reduce its shine too. You can make numerous creative patterns of once you know how to add glitter on acrylic nails.
