The Princess Diaries
Based on the novel by the same name, The Princess Diaries made Anne Hathaway a household name across the US. The story of the film is what every girl dreams to be. Anne Hathaway plays Mia a geek girl who gets informed of her princely status and is shocked to the core. Slowly she gets adjusted to the royal life and sees that she's born to be the princess. An amazing journey of courage.

The Devil Wears Prada
No chick flick list would be complete without The Devil Wears Prada. The movie is inspired from the novel with the same name by Lauren Weisberger. It's a wonderful story about two women Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) a fashion magazine editor and Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) a budding journalist. The movie is fun, entertaining and leaves a smile on your face at the end. Do watch it.

Erin Brockovich
The best performance of Julia Roberts which won her the Oscar for best actress, Erin Brockovich is a story of a single mom and her three kids who unintentionally becomes a world-famous environmental activist. This movie shows that women can handle any tough situation with grace. Erin Brockovich brings down a giant corporation on its knees and gets justice for hundreds of small town people who were dying a slow death because of the company's chemical Chromium 6. This movie is the best example which shows that you don't need a law school degree to save the world. Lots of great scenes, amazing lines and of course the beautiful Julia Roberts.

Moulin Rouge
The last option is a musical and a very romantic one. Moulin Rouge was made for women who loved music and fashion. It also had Ewan McGregor as the male lead. The film has music, costumes and love.
