Basic Recipe

Making this tea is very simple and anyone can make it. Just follow the instructions for making two cups of tea.

Ingredients
  • Water (2 cups)
  • Sliced ginger (One teaspoon)
  • Two green tea bags
  • Add honey or sweeteners as desired
Preparation
  • Take two cups of water in a pot, add one teaspoon sliced ginger, now simmer for 15 minutes.
  • After removing from heat, add the green tea bags. Stir the tea bags and let this mixture settle for ten minutes.
  • Remove the green tea bags and strain the mixture.
  • For making cold tea, refrigerate the above mixture and add ice cubes.
  • You can also add half a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice along with ginger in order to make ginger-lemon green tea.
