Getting Sour

Too much time is not always welcome....
Getting Sour
Time is precious.
Too much of it is vicious.
Various thoughts enter you.
Good ones are very few!
Excess hours do no good.
Most of it makes you brood.
Activity builds body and brain.
Its absence becomes a strain.
This strain’s stress is too much to take.
A devil’s workshop is in the make.
Clock seems still like rock.
Is it so due to mental block?
Its needles appear to be under protest.
Their ‘go-slow’ motion faces detest.
Twenty four stretches to no end.
Unpleasant is the thought process’ trend.
Idling is not always a good past time.
It can turn sourer than lime.
