Getting Over You

It is about believing a guy and then trying to keep up with his constant mind changing. One day she is perfect in everyway, while the next he is tired of how she acts. She feels like she is in a constant battle with him and finally she faces the facts that she shouldn’t have to put up with that. So she is struggling to realize what she must do, which is getting over him.
You care about me, so you say
But you seem to say a lot these days.
You’d do anything for me to stay
Then you’re tired of "me and my ways."
I can’t keep up, and I’m tired of trying
There’s no reason for me to start crying.
You were gone from the start
And I knew that deep in my heart.
Accepting the facts is what I must do
And to do that I must first get over you.
