Get More Energy while You Sleep

Is there any alternative to drinking lots of coffee to help energy levels?
I am tired nearly all of the time. I spend over 8 hours a day on a computer so no matter when I go to bed I end up tired. I've tried going for more runs as exercise is supposed to give you more energy. I eat pretty well and don't go to bed very late but I still can't shake the all day drowsy feeling. The only thing that does work is coffee but I'm trying to stay off that stuff as it's easy for coffee use to snowball out of control.

I've got to thinking about whether or not there is anything I can do other than spending so much time working on a computer. That's not an option so I've been looking at ways of maximizing the sleep I do get. What you sleep on and where you sleep can have a big effect on the quality of sleep that you get. Low quality sleep where you wake up every couple of hours will only leave you feeling tired and disheveled once woken.

There are different mattress options that are said to aid sleep and health. There is a new type of mattress available called the Shenergy. It uses negative ionisation which helps flow energy through the body and make you more refreshed and alert through out the day. It is said that the ionisation from the mattress fabric will improve how the oxygen moves through the body which helps with circulation which aids in general health. There are also some diseases which result from the positive charge of the human body. The shenergy mattress applies a negative charge which can help to combat positive charge driven diseases.

Memory foam mattresses can also have benefits for quality sleep and health. It can reduce back and headache pain by relieving pressure on important neck and shoulder muscles and helps to adopt a better sleeping posture. They can also relieve pressure on joints due to the reactive nature of the mattresses.
