Genital Herpes Symptoms

Genital Herpes can come in varying degrees. Minor herpes may cause very few symptoms, while more serious cases case consistent and regular outbreaks of gentile warts. People with Herpes generally have multiple outbreaks during a twelve-month period. Outbreaks can come at random or be triggered by something going on in your life. For example, an increased amount of stress, illness or friction. Outbreaks can also happen after surgery, chemotherapy, menstruation or simply by exhaustion. There are drugs available that can decrease the likelihood of an outbreak, but there is no cure for Herpes. You can only treat the symptoms. Taking care of your overall health will help reduce your stress and exhaustion, and subsequently reduce your potential outbreaks.

Because herpes is spread through skin to skin contact, it is possible to get a herpes infection on or around your penis, vagina, anus, or mouth. It is very important to not only have protected sex every time, regardless of the form of sex, it is important to know your partner.
