Garden March
Take a look around your garden while winter is still here and see what you'll find.
Bravely I marched through my garden
The snow was still there
The crocuses nowhere in sight
The only sign that spring was anywhere near
Were the birds singing chorus in the trees
Bravely I marched through my garden
Looking for signs of spring
The sky sunny and blue
The snow cold and white
While overhead birds flew
And sun's rays danced
Bravely I marched through my garden
The sun already warm upon my face
My cat in a sunny patch on the window sill
Looking for greenery
That I still couldn't see
While birds chorused in the trees
The snow was still there
The crocuses nowhere in sight
The only sign that spring was anywhere near
Were the birds singing chorus in the trees
Bravely I marched through my garden
Looking for signs of spring
The sky sunny and blue
The snow cold and white
While overhead birds flew
And sun's rays danced
Bravely I marched through my garden
The sun already warm upon my face
My cat in a sunny patch on the window sill
Looking for greenery
That I still couldn't see
While birds chorused in the trees
