"Zinc, run! You gotta run!"
"No! I'm not leaving you here!"
I screamed and screamed, but he wouldn't come with me. Gunshots were fired, and he pushed me down the hill where I would be hidden. Then he was taken.
NOOOOOOOO!!!

"Zinc! Wake up! It's just a dream!"
I slowly opened my eyes and saw my oldest brothers face. He was really sweet to me, but really bossy.
"Ruben, it really happened."
He turned away, because he knew exactly what I was talking about.
"Zinc, it wasn't your fault."
I got out of bed and went to my bathroom to get dressed. Black skinnies, black shirt with green writing, and black high top converse. Some eyeliner and a little teasing to my hair and I was ready.
I loved my hair. It was long and black, with white, blue, and lime green highlights. Amazing.
I walked out of the bathroom with Ruben and my other older brother Gage sitting there. Im 16, in the 10th grade. Gage is 17 in the 11th grade. And Ruben is 18 and the 12th grade. Yeah, I'm the youngest.
They both stared at me and I knew what was about to happen. I ran. They chased me all the way outside and down the street.
"TAKE YOUR MAKEUP OFF ZINC!!"
This is humiliating. I saw a guy in a convertible coming up behind me. Well, this is a long shot but I'm going to do it. I hopped into the passenger seat of the car.
He was so handsome. Colorful hair like mine, lip piercing and black skinnies and a converse shirt. My kinda man.
He looked at me, then the angry faces of my brothers, shook his head and laughed.
Yep, certainly my kinda guy. Hopefully, he didn't know my past. And what a loser I was.
