Furry Kind Of Love Author - The Dark Corridor

Chapter 1

"Hello?" Betty, aged 9, asked the darkness. She had always heard voices down that corridor. Her parents had always told her to never go down the dark corridor. Even in the daylight it was black. She took a deep breath and tried again, "Please, if you are listening to me could you please reply." And again no reply.
"What was that?" Betty said as a voice whispered three terrifying words, "I'm behind you!"...

Seven years later a new family moved into the house. there was a mother named Freda, and a Father names Benjii, and a little girl called Lucy, aged 10. She had an average height and shoulder length black hair. she had blue expressive eyes.

One night Lucy was standing in the same place that Betty had been the night she went missing. "Who's there?" she asked the complete darkness. Then a whispering voice chose the most terrifying three words, "I'm behind you!" Lucy felt something grab her arm. She shut her eyes. Then she fell into nothingness.
Lucy landed with a thud, she opened her eyes to find herself standing inside a box. Right next to her was... "Who are you?" The girl next to her hesitated, then quietly replied in her smallest voice "Betty."

Chapter 2

Betty and Lucy stared at each other for a second then looked away. "Why are you here?" The girls looked around to try to see who had spoken. Their eyes finally rested on a girl and a boy sat on a small box in a corner. "Did the darkness talk to you?" the boy asked.
"Yes. I'm Lucy and this is Betty". Betty looked down at the floor before saying, "I don't mean to be rude or anything, but what are your names?" The boy hesitated before answering Betty. "My name is Matthew and I'm 11. This here is my friend Taylor who is also 11." Taylor raised her hand as Matthew said her name.

Suddenly the box shook! Everyone was thrown about the box. "What's happening?" Lucy asked. "I don't know!" either Betty or Taylor answered. They bounced and turned. Was it ever going to stop? Finally, after what had felt like hours, the box came to a standstill. "What was that all about?" Lucy,Betty and Taylor looked at Matthew. "What?" Matthew looked confused.

"Well you've been here the longest," Taylor replied.
"All I know is that the last time it did that everyone screamed, it went dark, a cold shiver passed through the box and then silence." Lucy and Betty looked amazed.
"Where are the other boys and girls?" Lucy asked looking around.
"They all went outside the box."
"What's outside the box?"
"It's just , well, nothingness."

"Nothingness!" all the girls looked shocked.
Months or maybe years went by and more and more children came. One day it was all nice and quiet when suddenly the box quivered. A red flash lit up the interior of the box, there was a creak, then the wall, closest to Taylor, collapsed. Through the gap in the box everyone saw nothingness.

~~~ I'm just going to stop the story there for a second so I can tell you the other boys and girls names. There was Stacey aged 8, William aged 9, Jamie aged 10, Thomas aged 11, Zach aged 14 and Serenna, also known as Senni, aged 10. Now let's get back to the story.~~~

"Are we allowed to touch it?" Stacey asked." I wouldn't if I were you", Zach replied with a quick look at Betty. William, always having to be the first to try something, stretched out a hand to try to feel the nothingness. But he didn't feel anything. At the same time William started to fall.

Chapter 3

As soon as Taylor saw William falling, she grabbed his arm and shouted "Someone ,help me,quick! Williams falling out the box and I can't hold on forever!" Zach, being the oldest, helped Taylor first. following in this order came; Betty, Thomas, Stacey, Senni, Jamie and Lucy. Matthew was the last to help, he only wanted to help 'cause Betty, Lucy and Taylor were helping.
He had got fond of them after spending months with them.

The nothingness proved to strong though, so it eventually pulled everyone into it. Everyone was shouting and screaming. No one knew which way was up, which way was down. All they knew was that they had to stay together! After what seemed like seconds of pain and screaming it all stopped. Lucy opened her eyes.
They were all lying on a shining white floor. So white it was hard to decide whether there was a floor there at all! Deciding that there was a floor Lucy got up. Looking around, Lucy noticed that two of their number was missing. " Where's Senni and Stacey?" Lucy asked.
"Why don't we call for them?" Thomas suggested.
"Senni! Stacey! Where are you?" everyone shouted. Silence.
Then a moan came out the darkness. "Senni? Stacey? Is that you?" Lucy asked.

A mysterious shape was forming in the gloom. Whether it was Senni and Stacey it was hard to tell. The seconds slowly dragged by, nobody moved. Hesitantly, the shadow moved forward; it was close enough for Lucy to see, despite losing her glasses, that it was Senni and Stacey. relieved, Lucy ran to greet them.

Chapter 4

Instantly though, Lucy realized something was wrong. Stacey was leaning against Senni. Senni wasn't walking properly. Senni and Stacey were both limping.
