Each city in Germany is influenced by it's history and neighboring regions. It is a country with numerous architectural styles, art treasures, and it's grand lifestyle. The local cultures and people's mindsets in Germany's art, shops, pubs, and restaurants is quite prominent. Berlin is the capital of Germany. Other major cities of the country include Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Munich, Colonge, Stuttgard, and Bremen. The work values and the lifestyle of the citizens have their distinct identity. It has a lot of varieties in stock for people with a taste for quality food. Each region has it's own special delicacies. The quality and variety of beer and wine is one of the main attractions for visitors to stay put in Germany. Different car companies have made Germany their home, which makes it one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world.

Germany is on the list of one of the most densely populated countries in the world with a population of over 82 million people. It is also the second most populated country in Europe.

Even though, it's heavily populated, around one-third of the total area is covered with forests and woodlands, which is why it is one of the most beautiful places in Europe.

Germany is considered the fifth biggest economy in the world, and the largest in Europe.

Germany has over 150 castles. Some of the castles play host to royal families, and some have been turned into hotels and restaurants, while the rest are slowly dissolving into oblivion. These castles are one of the main tourist attractions of Germany.

Highways in Germany are called 'Autobahns'. Such expressways have no speed limit and you can drive your car as fast as you want.

Germany's public transport system is amongst the best in the world, but most of the people own cars. Reputed car manufacturing brands such as Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz operate out of Germany.

There are around 300 varieties of bread in Germany. So if you sink your teeth in one variety a day, you'll need just about a year.

Germans rank second in the world, after Ireland, in beer consumption per person. Beer is officially considered a food in Bayern, a city in Germany, where the size of a normal glass of beer is a liter. There are around 1,500 different brands of beer in Germany.

Germans answer a phone call with their surname, instead of a hi or a hello.

Corporates in Germany are very eager to know about their potential employees and colleagues, they expect to see a photo on your resume and want to know if you're married or not. This may be considered unprofessional in other countries.

Schools in Germany are not full-time, as they get over at 1 pm or thereabouts.
