Let's see how to play the easiest version of rummy.

The goal of this game is to get rid of all your cards either by making sets of 3 i.e. by making a group of three-four cards of different suits; but of the same rank. For e.g., 3 of hearts, 3 of spades 3 of diamonds and 3 of clubs, is a valid pair. Or by run i.e., making sequence of three or more cards of the same suit but in sequence. For e.g., 3 of hearts, 4 of hearts and 5 of hearts is a valid sequence. If the game is being played between 2 players than 10 cards are to be distributed and the rest have to be kept in a pile. If the number of players is 3 or 4, the number of cards distributed will be 7 each and 6 cards each; if the number of players is 5-6. All you have to do is turn by turn pick a card from the stock, see if it's useful to you (according to the above mentioned rules) if yes, use it and throw card instead of it. If you have made a sequence you are supposed to throw it down. The person who is the first to play all cards in his hand, wins. Rummy is also a great card game you can play online.

Blackjack
There must be hardly anyone who does not get addicted to this most popular card game! There are many tricks and tips which are actually not needed but very widely used while playing any variations of these card games. Let's see what blackjack is and how it is played.

The object of the game is to get a hand which is more than the dealer's but without exceeding the points over 21. Each card has got a value; the king, queen and jack have 10 points; ace is either 11 or 1 points; and the other cards according to their face value like for e.g. Any five is worth 5 points. Now, for scoring a hand, you have to ask the dealer for one card, at a time. But you must be careful that your card value shouldn't exceed 21, if it does you 'bust'. The challenge is to make a hand more than the dealer, without exceeding 21!

Crazy Eights
This is one of the most popular fun card games for kids. If there are more than two players, five cards will be distributed among each. If there are only two players, each will get seven cards. The remaining cards are placed face down on the table and the top card of the pile is turned over, as the game proceeds, the discarded cards have to be placed on that card.

The card which is kept face up is not an 8, the first player has to play a card which matches the face up card, either in suit or in rank. For e.g., if the face up card is a 5 of diamonds, a player can either play any diamond or any 5. Whoever has an 8, can play the 8 on any card, irrespective of the rank or suit. The player with 8 will also nominate the next suit to be played.

If the face up card is an 8, than the person who distributed the cards will nominate the suit which is to be played. The player who gets rid of all cards wins and the other players get penalty points. There are 50 points for an 8, 10 for pictures and spot cards at face value.
