From The Author Of Devil’s Heir….

This draft is to clear any sort of confusion in the readers. Thank you! Thank you so much for your comments. It helps me to explain my story better and makes me a better writer. Here is a bit about the characters. I’ll keep posting such drafts in between whenever there are any loose ends but I need your comments for that. So give me some! In chapter 4 everything about Rihette and Evan’s relationship will become clear. Just hang on a bit longer.

EVAN: He is the main protagonist of the story. He is 20 years old. Being the devil’s heir, he feels he has to isolate himself. Evan does not remember his past as the archangel. Evan is a very adamant kind of guy. He does not tolerate any insult made to his life or the experiences he had lost because of his uncle. Evan hates his uncle but can tolerate him when he is talking sense, if ever.

He has black eyes and being the devil has a hell of handsome features. (Not all devils are handsome) Though he is slightly skinny, Evan can easily take on a complete Raven. Evan is the ruler of darkness and shadows. He likes Rihette a lot and does not understand whether he loves her or not.

Enough about Evan… see the 4th chapter for Evan’s past, his true identity.

RIHETTE: She is the protagonist of the story and has a typical teenager way of living. Her age is thought to be 19. She comes to know about herself only after leaving the world. But she comes back for revenge and to help her partner soon after dying. She too is an archangel sent to Earth to battle the devil with Evan. She is the one who helps Evan come out of his depression and face his destiny. She is most of the time busy encouraging Evan to accept that he is in a soup, adding a bit of humor. Rihette was happy to be back and generally, her reaction is not as she thinks it will be. Her image of Evan was from the start that of a cool and enchantingly attractive guy. But she doesn’t know that its their being archangel partners that they are attracted to each other. Both of them are diehard fans of Animax- a channel which projects Animes.

RAZEK: Razek is the one made responsible for persuading Rihette to return and answer all her queries. He helps them on certain occasions by acting as a shield. Rihette can contact him anytime that she wants. He looks out for both the combatant archangels and guides them. He is a sleepy head and uses his wings more than his legs.

THE DEVIL: The major antagonist of the series. He happens to be Evan’s mother’s brother- his uncle. He wants to finish anybody who falls under the Devil’s Curse. He wanted Evan to be the next devil because he had seen a lot of locked up power in him. Though he doesn’t know how to release that power, he feels that after his coronation, Evan will surely show out his powers. He handles the Ravens’ Herald, which was created centuries ago when the first devil came into power. The Ravens are all very loyal to the devil and will not heed to anyone but the devil’s clan. The devil after leaving his throne, stays for as long as the new devil wants him to.

Details about the devil’s curse will be given in the subsequent chapters.

RAVENS’ HERALD: The Raven’s herald is the devil’s army. They are very loyal to the devil and tend to destroy anything that comes in their master’s path. These soldiers are very elite assassins and conduct the devil’s curse. They are seen in all blacks, with guns and grenades during fights. They give priority to the ruling devil. They were the ones who set fire to the place where Evan had his last experience, on the devil’s orders.

THE CONVERSATION WITH GOD: Rihette saw and heard God just according to her imagination. It is not the standard way God meets people. Not much of importance has been given to the background here.
