From Somewhere Inside
**PLEASE READ** :) Some poems I wrote that don't really go together but somehow I couldn't make myself tear them apart....
The fingerprints on my hips
The lies upon my lips
It’s all your fault
The dull of the blade
Silver cursed a crimson shade.
It’s all your fault
Ache of my starvation
Searching for untouchable perfection
It’s all your fault
Shatter of the glass
Reflection’s illusion cannot last
It’s all my fault.
Unwritten upon the page
Secret shadows act in rage
Eyes searching for what couldn't be
Not a line, but in between
A beast unleashed within a cage
Forgotten in a darkened age
It is not always what we see,
It is what goes unseen.
A scream echoed through broken caves
A black sea crashes in tainted waves
Beauty found and beauty lost
A simple price, my soul the cost
A million pieces of one
Memories of what you've done
Broken caves don't carry the sound
And black seas never reach the ground.
The lies upon my lips
It’s all your fault
The dull of the blade
Silver cursed a crimson shade.
It’s all your fault
Ache of my starvation
Searching for untouchable perfection
It’s all your fault
Shatter of the glass
Reflection’s illusion cannot last
It’s all my fault.
