Friend Or Foe?

Poetry about friendship...
Anyone can spend their lunchtimes with you
And calm you down when you’re stressed
Anyone can do what you ask them to
Or comfort you when you’re depressed.

People will stay with you when you’re good
They’ll be your friend when the days are great
They’ll walk on your journey with you
As long as it’s clear and straight.

But the moment that times get hard
And there’s trouble on the way
Your "friends" will disappear
All in a single day.

A true friend will never show themselves
And you will never know they care
But when everyone else has run from the storm
They’ll be the ones still standing there.
