Friend or Foe: Last Chapter
Truth about Sasha's death.
It was five in the evening when our bus reached 'Darn High'. We all went back to our old room and started packing our bags. We were total eight girls who came here and now only three were left. I just kept thinking of all the deaths and all the moments we had together. I decided to tell the to Miss Baliana when we will be leaving. My gaze was strucked at the window which was cause of all these sudden deaths. I wished that this whole thing was a nightmare and I could wake up. We all thought that this trip was the best but it is not. I was still thinking of the day we arrived here and the small fight which took lives of many and how many lives will go to waste after we will return. It was all my fault I thought. I will always control my temper I vowed because just a small fight has done such a huge loss. I could not even cry because my eyes were aching like hell. I was as quite as my mother while cleaning home. I turned my gaze towards Hannah and Matilda. They have been taciturn towards me after the death of Darla.
They were just talking to each other and were ignoring me. I never said them a word because maybe it can save their lives. I saw the room again and thought that what are they going to do with the clothes of all the dead girls. Are they going to return to their parents or are they going to give them to charity. I was thinking many things at the same time that I did not realize that Hannah and Matilda were not present there. I was horror struck because I was alone and may be it is my time to die I thought. If I had a last wish it would be to try on all the clothes of Sasha. It was at last fun. It cheered my mood a bit. I gestured towards the broken cupboard which would have been mine if I had not given it to Sasha I thought. It took approximately three minutes to open her cupboard. Her stuff fell out as soon as I opened her cupboard. Many beautiful things fell on the ground but the thing that caught my eye was very plain. It was a diary. It was unlocked so I read the page that was at the very middle of the diary.
Dear diary! 21-07-07
Today the day was just like others. Matilda and Hannah were again chit chatting and like always they ignored me and Mlissa. Today we went for a picnic. They decide not to invite Mlissa and I was thinking that it was harsh of them but thank God they invited me. We went to park which was near my place. But right now I am thinking that they only invited me because of the best place. Any way they bought drinks and snacks. I had to bring dounuts which were okay with me. When we reached there, we ate stuff and like always Hannah and Matilda ignored me. They do same to Mlissa but she never noticed. I just wish me and Mlissa become good friends but we, like babies fight over nothing. I like Mlissa a lot because she is way better than Hannah or Matilda. Right now I have to do my homework so write in you later. Byes!

I never knew Sasha liked me so much. I was happy inside but somewhere sad because I thought Hannah and Matilda were my best friends and now it was a sour lie. I glared over the wrist watch I was wearing and started running down because I had to talk to Miss Baliana. She was outside the office standing reading something. "Hello Miss Baliana!" I said respectfully. "Hello sirčne" she said diverting her attention towards me. "Um.... Miss Baliana I have to tell you some thing." "Yeah sure." She said plaintively. "Um.... It is that I...." I started but was intrupted by the screams and then a huge sound of something fall. We both, Miss Baliana and me hurriedly ran towards them. Those sounds were coming from hall. We both entered and screamed because Hannah and Matilda were nearly or maybe dead as the chandler was over them.
My mouth was a proper oval. Miss Baliana suddenly ran towards the dead bodies and started taking them out from the under of chandler. It was the chandler which was right in the middle of hall. The hall look bizzare and diserted. It was bare of furnitue. Suddenly something from nowhere bounced on the head of Miss Baliana. As if everything was preplanned, Miss Baliana fainted and the thing that happened next was totally un expected. On the stage I saw Sasha. She had a pleasant smile on her bloodcurdling face. I screamed and screamed but no one came. "No one can hear you because you are in my world. You have fainted for some time but will be back soon." She said blissfully. "Why you did this?" I asked , panicked. "You do not know the fact. You think I died because of you and well it seemed like it. But actually all the people died made my death possible. You are innocent and was blaming yourself without any reason. You were framed." She replied calmly. "No, I mean how I could I be framed.
I threw a pillow towards you and that's the reason you died." I said without believing just what Sasha had said. "If you had seen clearly, I fell out because my foot was on the cookie wrapper and I slipped. That cookie wrapper was not there because of air. When we both were fighting, Darla placed it there and she did this on purpose. She loathed me because I was way beautiful than her. Before her death she wanted to tell you because she was feeling guilty that you are framed for all of this. But even then she was going to tell you a lie that Marty placed the cookie wrapper. I took my revenge from her by killing her through the same cookie wrapper. I killed her friends because Sharon gave idea that I committed suicide and spirits really do not like such kind of ideas and any way she was supporting the wrong so I killed her by getting inside her made her commit suicide.
Marty knew all of this and still she committed the wrong deed. She came to know this in toilets so she died in toilets." Sasha said mildly. "What about Liza, Matilda and Hannah?" I asked breathlessly. "Hmmm... I thought that Liza was an innocent girl and would never harm an insect but she harmed me. She was jealous of me that she even planned to kill me. She told every one that she went down to catch me or at least hinder my fall but what she actually did was, broke my ribs by stone and same happened to her, stone pierced through her chest and broke her ribs. In that way she died. Now my two so-called best friends Hannah and Matilda did something like this. Matilda abominated me so much because I was more prettier than her. Any way when I fell, she thought that this was the best way to kill me completely so thing she did was, she told Hannah to be the first one to reach to me and check if I was alive.
If Hannah will scream, that mean I am alive and if she do not, I am dead. Hannah screamed so Matilda hurriedly checked my heartbeat and told every one that I was dead which I was not. If they would not have fibbed and took me to hospital instead in ten minutes, I would have lived. I called them here and by haunting them. I appeared in front of them and they followed me and I ended here and so they died here. They both died together the way they lived together. I called them here because I want them to live and made them wish that someone save them and they will die in hopelessness." She ended and started making her way towards me. My heart caught in my throat. I felt scared and wanted to run away which I can not. She was very near me but she never harmed me instead she hugged me. Her embrace was like cold air. "I like you and I am sorry for all the trouble and I will never harm you in future." She said in her sincere voice. I hugged her back and said in polite voice, "I like you too! A lot!" Suddenly everything started fading away and I was back. I opened my eyes and realized that I fainted at the door. Miss Baliana was also back. She moved towards me and hugged me.
After thirty minutes I was ready to leave but I felt happy because I never harmed any one and all the time I was being framed. I felt alive again and felt a huge burden has vanished. I and Miss Baliana were walking towards the bus when suddenly she asked, "Um.... Before the death of Hannah and Matilda you wanted to tell me some thing. Right?" "Um ....Yeah but now I had got the answer" I said, smiling.
