Free MP3 Download King Reviews Kings of Leon – Because of the Times

It runs in the family, say some. Kings of Leon are the perfect advertisement to represent that expression. KoL as they are sometimes referred to are a four piece formed by three brothers and a cousin – Nathan Followill (drums/percussion/backup vocals), Caleb Followill (rhythm guitar/lead vox), Jared Followill (bass guitar) and Matthew Followill (lead guitar). Finding their roots in Tennessee, this quartet has fan following from all over the world, especially Europe. The amusing question however is: who doesn’t love the Kings of Leon? - Perhaps, only those who haven’t ever heard any of their stuff. With so many and unlimited free MP3 download options available, I wonder what’s stopping. One just has to listen to their most The Kings of Rodeo (which is probably their most downloaded MP3) from their venerable 2004 release Aha Shake Heartbreak to become a fan. The religious and Southern influence from their childhood reflects clearly through their music. If their deceptively simple music doesn’t get you then perhaps their melodic concision will.

Now the good news, people who are already hooked to The Kings of Leon will be pleased to know that The Kings of Leon are out with their new music album Because of the Times. One might have thought that after the overwhelming success of Aha Shake Heartbreak, surpassing listener expectations will be difficult for KoL but they have blasted through the boundary with such an ease that it is almost unbelievable. The track "Knocked Up" serves as the perfect opener for their latest album. People want lots and lots of guitar from the Kings and the Kings provide it to them with kingly generosity. "Charmer" kind of tops that with Matthew Followill feeling totally avant-garde with his guitar. "On Call" comes as a surprise with a piano intro and an overall softer soundscape.

With songs like those, Because of the Times is definitely a download worthy album. I haven’t been able to delete the album from my MP3 player ever since I’ve downloaded it. As I listen to it, I keep thinking how free music downloading has made my life so much easier.
