KoL as they are sometimes referred to are a four piece formed by three brothers and a cousin – Nathan Followill (drums/percussion/backup vocals), Caleb Followill (rhythm guitar/lead vox), Jared Followill (bass guitar) and Matthew Followill (lead guitar). "Charmer" kind of tops that with Matthew Followill feeling totally avant-garde with his guitar. "On Call" comes as a surprise with a piano intro and an overall softer soundscape.

With songs like those, Because of the Times is definitely a download worthy album. I haven’t been able to delete the album from my MP3 player ever since I’ve downloaded it. As I listen to it, I keep thinking how free music downloading has made my life so much easier.
