Franklin Tn Dust Allergy Problems
Weak immune system is the major cause of most allergies. None of the so- called 'factors' actually induce allergies. Allergy is only the response of a weak immune system, to the factors. Franklin Tn dust allergy is one such allergy that is triggered due to dust mite. Contrary to the common conception that dust is the cause of this allergy, it is actually the dust mite which gets inhaled along with the dust particle.

Causes and Symptoms

The main function of the immune system is to create antibodies to fight against antigens. Whenever a foreign substance enters our body, lymphocytes(cells) detect the protein molecule on the surface of the substance called as antigen, lymphocytes then stimulate the production of protein, called as antibodies. Antibodies help to fight against antigens, thus protecting the person from allergies and infections. A healthy person is usually able to produce enough number of antibodies in response to antigens, hence is less likely to catch an infection or allergy. When the body fails to produce antibodies in sufficient amount, the person becomes susceptible to various kinds of allergies.

The infestation of dust mite is the main cause of Franklin Tn dust allergy. There are some emotional factors like stress that also contribute to this allergy. Certain proteins in some foodstuffs like corn, gluten, enriched flower etc. also act as allergens. The symptoms of allergy are excessive sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, shortness of breath etc.

How to Avoid Allergies

Allergies can be avoided best if the allergens are detected. Most allergies can be prevented by avoiding the allergen itself. In case of Franklin Tn dust allergy where the cause is dust mite, simply destroying the infestation can solve the problem. Some measures that can help overcome this problem are:
  • Carpet is a home for the most infestations. Hence, make sure the carpet is cleaned, rather washed frequently. Simply cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner won't help, as the dust mite are too tiny.
  • Dust mite infestation triggers in humid, warm, dark areas. Hence, make sure your house is properly ventilated to let in enough sunlight and fresh air.
  • Pillows, covers, kid's soft toys, mattresses are also very prone to infestations. Therefore, a proper cleaning of these items becomes a must. Again, do not solely rely upon a vacuum cleaner. Wash these items thoroughly and frequently.
  • Often this kind of allergy is likely to trigger at night. So, ensure your bedding is free of any infestation. If possible switch to allergy- free bedding.
  • In case of food protein allergens, always watch what you are buying. Many proteins form an ingredient of some other foods, hence it becomes very difficult to detect. Hence, always read the labels carefully.
  • And lastly, seek medical help especially in case of persistent allergy problems.
Allergy problems cannot be cured only when they flare up. One has to be on constant medication to avoid resurfacing of allergies. Even the cleaning routine has to be regular, as it is only a matter of few days before the infestation resurfaces. Clean environment and proper medications are the only things that can relieve you of allergy problems.
