Formula One: Season 2009 (Race 12)
Race 12...

It was a sweet one-two for the Brawn team as Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button crossed the checkered flag, and they look well on their way to clinch the team constructor's title too. Fisichella did wonders to take 2nd place in the previous race, but could manage just 9th this time in his Ferrari. But no doubt he will get more used to the team and the car, and will improve. It was great to see Force India getting some more points, and even more so, Sutil picking up his first points of the season. Their hard work and persistence is paying off.
Alonso and Räikkönen are arguably the two best drivers in the pack, but they haven't been able to pull off anything consistent this season. Kubica, Hamilton and Webber too have been disappointing, and have dropped behind as compared to the last season.
With the next race on the 27th of September at the night track of Singapore, the teams have a lot of thinking to do. Brawn would want to stay ahead of the rest, Ferrari and McLaren would want to win some more races to show that they are still the best overall, and Force India would love to get some more points this season, something that will boost their morale for next year.
