1. To restore the password, you will have to plug the iPod touch to your computer.
2. Then navigate your way to 'My Computer'.
3. Now go to the drive, which is your iPod's drive.
4. The next step is to go to the Tools Menu.
5. In the Tools Menu, go to Folder options, then to View Tab, followed by Check Show.
6. The previous step will enable, you to view the hidden folders in the iPod.
7. Find the folder 'iPod_Control', followed by the folder 'Device'.
8. You will come across a file named '_locked'.
9. Change the name of the said file to '_unlocked'.
10. Once the step is executed, you will be able to use your iPod touch.
