Forgive Me Father
Love it or don't. Dark poetry of truth.

Eating the dismal shadows that absorb my mind..
Russet lips that lick away the hate.
The taste of cynical and mindless debate.
Why do you cower behind what is good and pure?
Then pretend to pray to feel falsely secure.
What is this utopia of lies that you portray?
As you imbue these foolish ideas as if my brain were clay.
Society no longer is blind to the fallacies you display.
Your fire and brimstone are gone with the days.
When you break the skin and trust of a child,
How many Hail Marys does that take?
Do you believe the scars vanish after a while?
Or do you sweep it under your holy rug for God's sake?
My ebony eye shadow bleeds down my somber face.
As I cry from the havoc that leaves a bitter taste.
Hide behind your white collar of deceit.
Soon the one you fear is the one you will meet..
