Forever to Love You
I wrote this for my fiance Johnny. I love him more than anything on this planet and this is one of the many poems that I have written for him.
There are too many times when I don't know what to do.
My heart is always aching and I'm in pain.
But everything subsides and the darkness divides.
When I feel you run through my veins.
There are too many times when I feel we're apart.
Though we're next to each other, you feel so far.
I can't think of anything worse than being alone.
Wanting you to be there, I left my life to you.
Hoping and praying that's just what you'll do.
Emotionally away from you, I'm sick.
Yet, physically I tire.
I need you more than you think I've got you.
Saying I have you plenty, you could call me a lair.
But I know one thing.
And this something is more than true.
Baby, with all of my heart.
I truly, whole heartedly, and I will forever
