Forever and Always - Chapter 10 - Part 2
Pumpkin sister.
"Sissy, where are you?" My annoying sister screamed, distracting such a beautiful moment. We both immediately pulled away. I was so annoyed, and I promised myself that I was going to kill her tonight.
We were both in the balcony, and soon my sister was there.
"What do you want?" I asked angrily. She was just a 6 year old, but her voice was like sooooooo loud. I am not even kidding. She is the loudest kid ever!
"What are you guys doing?" She demanded, like it was any of her business. She was like my mom’s pet. My mom was kind of strict, and if she ever found out that I was with Dave in my balcony, she would most definitely kill me.
"Nothing." Why did she even have to come here? I hated this.
"You are not telling me the truth. I am going to tell mommy," She was about to go when I grabbed her shoulder, a little roughly. She was about to scream but I covered her mouth.
"You don’t have to scream! Just shut up." I was getting furious. "We were not doing anything, okay?"
"Liar." She looked from Dave to me. "If you guys were not doing anything, why are you all red?" Dave chuckled, and I blushed even deeper.
I sat in one of the chair, and placed her in my lap. "Listen sweetie, we were not doing anything wrong. We were just, um, talking, right?" I looked toward Dave, waiting for him to nod, but instead he shook his head.
"Hey, that’s a lie," He said with a serious expression. I just glared at him. What was he doing?
"What’s your name?" He knelt down, and asked my sister.
"Pumpkin," She giggled, and Dave laughed.
"It’s such a cute name. Who named you that?"
"Sissy," She said proudly, taking my hand.
"Do you know what that means?"
She shook her head.
"It means my sweet little sister," I said, tickling her, and she started laughing and giggling. I giggled with her while Dave just stayed there watching us.
"What?" I demanded.
"Nothing," He just smiled.
"So what are you going to say to mom?" I asked a little too sweetly, hoping that she will stop making things up.
"I am just gonna say that Sissy was with a boy, and her face was all red."
"My face isn’t red," I defended myself.
"Its more like crimson," Dave added.
I glared at both of them. "You are not going to say that, okay?"
She just shook her head. I gave her a mean look which she knew full well. "Fine."
"Are you going to do the same as last time?"
"What?"
"Just tell me what exactly you are going to say to mom."
"I am gonna say that," Her brown eyes looked confused. "That sissy is not in the balcony with a guy, and she is not tomato red."
Dave burst out laughing.
My sister was like the main cause for making me in trouble. "I was planning to buy you your favorite ice cream, but I don’t think I will anymore."
"No!" She screamed, and I covered my ears. "I didn’t even do anything! You can’t do that! That is cheating." She started to cry.
"Shhhh." I patted her back. "Just don’t say anything, and you will get an ice cream.
She wiped her tears, and smiled big.
I kissed her cheeks softly. "Be a good girl, and you will get a lot ice creams." She kissed me hardly, and started running towards the kitchen.
Dave was smiling big,
"Why are you smiling?"
He just smiled. "Nothing."
"You have been saying that a lot." He just looked at me. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Cant I just look at you?" He asked, staring at me without even blinking. He placed himself in the seat next to mine, and pulled me in his lap. I turned to face him, and he was looking down at me. He was about to kiss me when my sister screamed and interrupted us for the second time.
I freed myself from his lap, but he pulled me back. "Don’t go," He murmured in my ear.
"I think she is going to come-"
"Shhh," He placed a finger in my lip, and stopped me. I looked at him and kissed him slowly in his cheek. "You should go now. It’s getting dark."
"Kiss me and I will go," He waited. I kissed him lightly in his nose, and he closed his eyes. I quickly got up, and he opened his eyes. There were so many emotions playing in there and I wanted to make myself lost in his gaze.
"You really should go," I said seriously.
"Fine," He complained. He pecked me lightly and he was gone.
