For The Night Is Young (Poem About Imminent Heart Break)

It’s about a guy that knows his relationship is too good to be true and the truth finally hits him at a get together at a friends house enjoy…
Let the music heal the blind
While we speak of tonight,
Let memories of other nights
Help me prove that I was wrong
"Don't worry the night is young!" they say
With an eager smile across their face
They said that this was easy
And they also said this would be a breeze
Something I don't comprehend is how she would pick me
Cause she’s way too beautiful to be with me
After it was all done
I toasted and thanked the host
"Sooner or later she'll learn I'm not the one
That’s what scares me the most
Sooner or later she'll know I’m no fun
So I bid you farewell and to this I toast"
