For The Love of Genovia Chp. 2

As Amelia was riding in her carriage down the city's road headed back to Genovia, she noticed Jonathan Thermopolis walking down the street, she leaned back in her seat hoping that he wouldn't see her, but she failed.

"Amelia Smith, what a pleasant surprise to see you!" Jonathan said, so that Amelia could hear him.

As the carriage slowed down Amelia said, "What do you want?"

"You know what I want." Said Jonathan

"What?" asked Amelia impatiently

"To be king of Genovia!" Jonathan demanded.

"Well to bad Mr. Thermopolis you are not married to me so you can not!" exclaimed Amelia.

"I will find a way, I found a way to get you to almost marry me." Said Jonathan

"Almost." Amelia reminded him.

"Oh. Yes, almost." He said, "I am a changed man, I am not that man anymore." Jonathan said

"I do not believe you!" she shouted as she rode away.

Jonathan, just looking at the carriage disappearing as it drifted farther and farther away. As Amelia was riding home, she started thinking "What will he do if he finds out where me and my family live, what will he do?"

Has she reached the palace, her parents were waiting outside the gate for her. She ran to them saying, "I saw him, I saw him!" she said.

"You saw who?" asked her father.

"Jonathan Thermopolis." She told them. "He's going to find a way to be king of Genovia!" she yelled "

"Clarence you have to do something"! Demanded Elizabeth. As the royal family were walking in their castle, Jonathan Thermopolis showed up on his horse. " Intruder''! the guards yelled .

"Oh be quiet, I am here to, um... take the princess for a ride." Said Jonathan

"Amelia, your carrier is here" stated the guard.

"What are you talking about?" she said as she walked out of the courtyard "That's not my carrier. I just came from a ride." Amelia told him.

"Sorry." Said the guard.

"It's ok, just get him away! Amelia said while looking at Jonathan.

Amelia was walking in the castle when Jonathan said "but. I ... love you."

"I once did too." Said Amelia, without looking back.

As Jonathan was riding away, he got an idea "When everyone is sleeping, I'll sneak in and get the princess" With a smirk on his face he rode away.
