I never wanted you to leave me
I loved you no matter what you put me through
But thing's weren't going great and I started to see
That this wasn't easy, but I tried so hard
To keep us going strong!

And for so long I was trying to make our love last
And for so long I was slowly breaking apart
But you didn't see that I was in need
And soon enough we were far apart

We used to meet in the garden every single night
It used to be so hard for us to walk away
I remember the way you used
To hold me in the old days
But it's too late to get back to our happy ways
