Foods That Cause Wrinkles

Tips to avoid the foods that cause wrinkles
Wrinkles are the dense and uneven skin formation near the eyes and cheeks of a person. These usually come as the person grows older but to some it comes at their early stage of life. One of the major reasons for this being the foods you eat dramatically affects your skin.

Certain junk foods taken increase the amount of free radicals present in the body which in turn reduce the amount of collagen. Collagen molecules are the proteins found in the skin, which helps to keep it healthy and elastic in nature. Free radicals which are usually formed with the exposure to sunlight, smoking and air pollution cause the degeneration of collagen. These free radicals are also formed by the unhealthy byproducts of Oxygen used by the body cells.

Foods rich with excessive oxidants also cause the generation of these free radicals. Thus it is advised to the people suffering from wrinkles at the early stage to take anti oxidants and avoid the excessive junk foods. Certain foods are well rich with the nutrients and substances that have scientifically been proven to make the person look younger and wrinkles free. Therefore, before taking any type of foods a dietitian should be consulted, as some may be beneficial, but some may not be. Some of the foods that have the property to prevent wrinkles include tomatoes, spinach, beans, turkey, olives and chocolates.

Some changes in the hormones also cause the skin wrinkles. While the continuous expressions in the face also leads to reshaping of the skin. For a person always smiling gets the wrinkles around his mouth. Also with the growing age due to the gravitational pull the skin gets sagged.

The dermis layer which is the second outermost layer of our skin also leads to wrinkles at the growing age, as it is a connective layer between the epidermis and the internal systems. It supplies required proteins to the skin, thus helps in maintaining the elasticity and healthiness of it. The dermis grows thinner with the age and collagen production decreases, leads to low production of elastic fibers.
