Dairy Products
Dairy products are great sources of protein and calcium for the human body, but for people who are lactose intolerant, these products can end up causing a lot of unwanted trouble in the form of digestion problems and flatulence. Individuals who are aware of their lactose intolerance must regulate their consumption of dairy products, and if possible should stay away from them completely. Out of all the diarrhea causing foods, these are the ones whose absence will be most sorely felt though.

Red Meat
It is inevitable that these foods will also contain some benefits for the body. Depriving the body of these foods means that these nutrients will no longer be available, so a suitable substitute must be found. Red meat is also extremely beneficial for the body but sometimes it can be slightly difficult for the body to digest. So too much of it must not be consumed at one time, so eating white meat and fish instead is recommended.

Alcohol
One of the serious effects of diarrhea is the dehydration that accompanies it. A lot of liquids get released from the body, and as a result, a person may experience severe weakness and dehydration. The consumption of alcohol while already suffering from a bout of diarrhea is known to worsen the condition. Moreover, alcohol also dehydrates the body further, so you need to be extremely stingy in your consumption of alcohol while suffering from diarrhea.

Caffeine
Another liquid that can drastically affect your bowel movements is coffee. Caffeine is known to cause a variety of effects on the bowels of a person, and sometimes this can lead to some negative repercussions and the person can end up with a bout of diarrhea. Caffeine is a known diuretic, and this implies that like alcohol, caffeine will also add to the dehydration of the body, so should be consumed with caution.

Excessive Fibers
Food items that contain excessive amounts of fiber are also common foods that can cause diarrhea. Fibers are known to enhance the bowel movements of human beings, but consuming too much of fiber can only be a bad thing. For people suffering from constipation, fibers are recommended in order to relieve the bowels activity a little bit but too much freedom for the bowels is not a good idea though.

Spices
We all love nice spicy food, now don't we? Too much spice in our food though can have some dire consequences the next morning. Diarrhea causing foods are usually those that are laden with spices that taste good while eating, but symbolically leave a sour taste on their way out.
