Focusing attention on the "essential details" is crucial in all aspects of life. Each test requires concentration, focusing your ideas in a certain direction.

But what is the right concentration? In other words, what should we be focused on? Jesus Christ, the Son of God tells us that our focus should be on the things above (Heaven) and not on earthly things. He urges us to gather riches in Heaven where no thieves can steal them away and no moth can eat them.

The Creator tells us to focus on eternal things and values not to strive for mortal, passing and imperfect things. Our eyes catch on things we see, that’s why we tend to get more of those, but Jesus tells us to focus on what the physical eyes do not see, because those are the eternal things.
