Flames Of Night

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, blood mixed with water is the color of rust...
The fire runs through

Ash is all that remains

The heart stops beating

The blood stills in the veins

With the wings of an eagle

She soared through the sky

She never really wanted to know

How it would feel to die

She thought shed live forever

That was her dream

She was invincible

Or so it seemed

Now she’s dead

She’s all alone

Her face is still

As cold as stone

Her eyes won’t open

They're forever cold

She thought shed live forever

But now her soul is sold
