First Post, Story Idea...Like It or Not?
This is my first post as a member and I've already got a story idea. If you guys like it, I'll post it =]
Okay so I have no idea what Buzzle is or what kind of stories you guys like, but I'd (hopefully) like to become an author one day and...well, you have to start somewhere, right?
The idea I have is actually based on real life. I'm just changing the names to a) protect people, and b) not make writing it more awkward than it needs to be.
So, the idea: A normal teenage girl has been in love with this guy for a while, but he has never met her. One day they're assigned to be lab partners for the semester, and things change. Long story short, they end up dating for a couple years. By now she's infatuated with him. So when he introduces her to his friends, she's eager to meet them. However one of them strikes her as weird. He's wearing black, leather, has tattoos, and has the "punk" look down. The guy she's dating says not to worry, he didn't think she'd like him anyway. Some stuff happens, life gets out of control, and she ends up having to choose between the two guys. So essentially it's light vs. dark; who she was vs. who she wants to be; real vs. fake, etc.
Yeah, I know what you're thinking. HOW IS THAT EVER GONNA HAPPEN?? And how is she gonna make sense of it?
Quite frankly, I'M not even sure about that :) And fyi, I'm really busy, so this is most likely gonna be a summer side project.
But if you guys want me to write it, then I'll certainly give it a try.
