1st Period- French

All I remember from High School
are the useless essays and horrible food
Great Big Buildings and the little bungalows
my days filled with classes and Girls
and little pranks for cheap thrills
Going to football games and playing in the band
Being called names but taking them like a man
Things happen in High School that change you
It can turn you into fools, so no matter what stay true
be yourself and grow
be ready for the cruel world

Those things are Ages away now
like old roman gods
or the maturity gained from it all
We all grow up
but never feel old
These things we can't grasp or comprehend
are things we want but can't understand
the irony of it all is that we'll forever be cursed
our hearts grow old all beat up and bruised
but we mature as young adults
into the big cruel world
